A downloadable game for Windows

Explore the procedurally generated mine, collect gold and use it to build fast movement contraptions that allow you to push deeper and deeper into the mine before your oxygen runs out. Hopefully, you will eventually find the legendary heart of Koh Gamui, rumored to grant unimaginable power.

Gold Rush is a 3D sidescroller using voxel graphics. It is a singleplayer game that can be played with keyboard and mouse. The goal of the game is to find the Heart of Koh Gamui.
In a team of 6 students, we developed Gold Rush as part of the Game Programming Laboratory at ETH Zurich. We hope you have as much fun playing it as we had creating it!

Install instructions
Extract the ZIP folder and run "GoldRush.exe".
The folder further contains a "README.txt" file containing the controls as well as a short description of the goal. However, the game also features a "Controls" panel that is automatically shown upon starting a new playthrough. During a playthrough, the panel can also be opened manually via the "Show Controls" button in the pause menu.
Note that the UI is optimized for a resolution of 1920x1080 and the adaption to other resolutions is limited.
